Scrolling through Lorna’s instagram, it’s easy to see her love for sunglasses, and that of a few pairs in particular. Winter or Summer, sunglasses are a great accessory to have. There are a number of trend-led styles that are dominating the market at the moment, but with both mass and luxury brands and designers on board there are many variations available, so that you will find a pair that suit you and your budget. We have seen the popularity of 90’s inspired and coloured lensed sunglasses increase over the past few seasons, with these being see during SS20 runway shows by the likes of Victoria Beckham and Balenciaga.
The 90’s inspired squared sunglasses is a style that has really taken the limelight in SS20 runway shows. Cat eye sunglasses are a style we have seen around for years and we are sure this is not a style that is going anywhere soon. The Cat-eye sunglasses is a shape that Lorna has discovered suits her face and therefore has invested in a number of different styles and we don’t blame her. During 2019 & 2020, Lorna has been wearing her Saint Laurent Jerry Black sunglasses, being a statement piece of any outfit. Their usual frame and sharp edges with a slim design makes them a great piece for your collection for 2020. Another pair of cat eye sunglasses we have seen Lorna in are the Dita eyewear Erasure’s pointed sunglasses. The coloured lenses are another element that we have seen all over SS20 runway and will be a big trend for the summer to come. Another alternative Lorna worn a number of times in the summer of 2019 whilst holidaying in Greece were her white cat-eyed sunglasses. It is very easy to stick to all black when it comes to deciding a pair on sunglasses to invest in but Lorna has shown us that this is not a colour to be overlooked and is a perfect alternative if you are wanting to purchase something different.
During the summer of 2019 we saw demand for the micro sunglasses increase as this boomed onto the market with them being worn by celebrities such as the Kardashians as well as influencers like Lorna herself. Lorna has been seen in this style wearing brands such as Prada and Shopbop.
